It’s been a while since I have blogged, so wanted to quickly touch base on how my launch went and what I am up to now as part of my journey towards a creating a successful online business.
Rapid Traffic Guide Launch
On 10 August 2015, at 10am EDT, I launched my very first product in the Internet Marketing/Make Money Online niche. The product is called Rapid Traffic Guide, and it basically shows you how to build a list, how to drive traffic and how to convert that traffic into sales and customers.
I must admit I was really nervous in the lead up to the launch, as a lot of worked went into it and after all you never really know how well it will convert until some good traffic is put in front of it.
I had worked tirelessly to network with and recruit affiliates over the previous 2 months and was fortunate to have at least 50 affiliates support my launch.
When the launch started, much to my relief, my product was actually selling! The adrenaline was pumping and the feeling of seeing multiple PayPal notifications hitting my inbox was an unbelievable feeling.
By the end of the launch I had sold over $5,000 USD of my product with 50% given away to the amazing affiliates that supported me. The other 50% was all for me which was nice.
I added hundreds of subscribers to my email list as well. Building a list of valuable subscribers is one of the most important parts of creating a sustainable online business, so I am really appreciative of the fact that I have these awesome people on my list.
I ran an affiliate contest (for who generated the most sales) as well and the winner of it was John Thornhill. John’s traffic really converts and I must say his traffic and coaching went a long way to helping my launch become a success.

What I am doing now
Although I made money on the launch, I am still making ongoing sales of the product. I am also making daily commissions from affiliate offers that I email my subscribers. I only send them valuable related products that will assist them in their online marketing efforts.
It is actually really nice to be able to send an email when you go to sleep at night, and then wake up the next day to payment notifications hitting your PayPal account.
